Lucy uses a combination of instinctive mark-making and symbols within her work to reflect the Jay's habitat in wood and parks where it gathers and buries acorns. It is a shy bird and makes a screeching call. It is currently on the green list for conservation concern because it's numbers are steady.

This abstract artwork comes with an individual handwritten thank you note from Lucy. Each work is hand made by Lucy, in Leicester at her artist studio.
