Inspired by the colouring, habitat, vocalisation, behaviour, food source and conservation status of the great tit. This artwork features visualisations of the great tits two-syllable song and its food source including caterpillars and spiders.
Lucy collaborates with birding charities to access information, case studies and academic journals provided by the RSPB and the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) to interpret data into visual representations, often reducing information down to a shape, colour, line or pattern using her signature style in a variety of mixed media.
Please note the colouring of the background is most accurate on the first image.
This abstract artwork comes with an individual handwritten thank you note from Lucy. Each work is original and hand-made by Lucy, in Leicester at her artist studio.
All postage is via DPD or Royal Mail. Collection from Lucy's studio in Leicester is also available.
