The Magic Voice

£20.00

A limited-edition print of 30 inspired by the Lyrebird, from the taxidermy collection at Leicester Museum. This bird has a four-part coordinated song-dance courtship routine discovered by Dr Anastasia Dalziell’s research on lyrebirds in the Australian Dandenong Ranges.

The original artwork uses drawings, scanned objects and watercolour to visualise the birds courtship songs and to showcase the Lyrebirds ability to mimic industrial and artificial sounds. It was originally commissioned by the School of Museum Studies at the University of Leicester as part of the ‘Museum Metamorphosis’ project.

Printed using lightfast pigmented inks on fine art 100% acid-free 310gsm cotton rag paper. 14.8x21cm (A5 size).

You will receive a limited edition giclée print. Each print is titled, hand signed and given an edition number.

This artwork comes unframed. Your print will arrive flat in a hard-backed envelope.
