Blackbrd Singing to the Moon

This original artwork shows a male blackbird singing to the moon. Blackbirds often continue to sing into the night as part of a dusk chorus. The idea for the work came from Lucy's sightings of blackbirds whilst walking her border terrier, Millie around her local village and nature reserve.

Created using acrylic paint and oil pastel on canvas. Size in frame: 85.5 x 63.5 cm

The artwork is part of the new collection 'Blackbird' created in 2025 and exhibited at StudionAme (April - May 2025).

The artwork comes framed in a black wooden frame. Provided with mirror plates and D rings to make hanging in your home easy.

This artwork comes with an individual hand written thank you note from Lucy and can be collected from Lucy's studio in Leicester or sent via DPD.
