This artwork is inspired by the brambling using mixed media to showcase its buzzing and repetitive call, complex highly patterned feathers and migration routes to European woodlands. The title is inspired by its bright orange plumage, described as a 'fiery glow', which both sexes have on their breast and shoulders.
