This artwork is inspired by the barn owl using mixed media to showcase its screeching call, camouflaged mottled feathers and stealth-like hunting skills. The title is inspired by the grey mouse-like shape next to the breast of the owl. They are highly efficient nocturnal hunters, often consuming 1–2 mice per night and using their silent flight and sharp talons to catch rodents
