Perched House Sparrow

A framed original mixed media drawing of a sparrow inspired by house sparrows that have been seen feeding on seeds in Lucy's and her mums garden throughout the year. The red/pink surrounding area shows how fragile the birds life is with it recently being added to the red list of conservation concern with its population numbers plummeting. As more people develop a love for feeding birds and connecting with the natural environment they might have a better chance of survival and continue to visit gardens and parks with their cheeky chattering song.

Painted using emulsion paint, acrylic paint and wax pastels.

Dimensions including bespoke navy frame: 42.1cm (width) x42.1cm (height) x3.7cm (depth).
The frame comes supplied with D rings, cord and mirror plates to make installation in your home easy.

This abstract artwork comes with an individual handwritten thank you note from Lucy. Each work is hand-made by Lucy at StudionAme, her artist studio in Leicester.
