Lucy uses a combination of instinctive mark-making and symbols within her work to reflect the Blue tit's habitat in woodland, parks and gardens where it searches for food. It is a colourful mix of blue, yellow, white and green. It makes an urgent trilling sound: tsee-tsee-tsee-chuu-chuu-chuu. It is currently on the green list for conservation concern because it's numbers are steady.
