Orange Sky at Night

Orange Sky at Night is a bold and beautiful original pastel drawing inspired by my favourite walking trails with my border terrier, Millie.

This is one of a collection of six vibrant coloured pastel drawings inspired by photographs taken during my walks at my local nature reserve.

This drawing highlights some of the walkways along the canal that I see every morning. Before having Millie, I didn’t realise how important daily walking was to my own wellbeing and how much it can help with creative problem solving.

It’s special places like this that I wanted to document and share with you as a reminder to enjoy the outdoors and find your perfect place to clear your mind.

This drawing is created using wax pastels on archival paper. It has been finished and sealed with a spray varnish.

Dimension in the frame. 27.4x34.9cm. This artwork comes framed and is signed on the back. It has both D rings with string and mirror plates, making it easy to hang in your home.
