Inspired by the arrival of a new year. This is the first painting of 2024 to be created in Lucy's studio space in Leicester. The goldfinch has associations with tidings of joy and happiness, so it seemed fitting to make this the first piece of artwork of the year. Finches are also deemed the perfect animal symbol of happiness and celebration.

This artwork comes unframed and will arrive flat in between protective mount board and cardboard packaging.
